Emily Doyle is the author of the short story collection Please Don’t Touch the Body and the forthcoming novel Encounter. Her work has appeared in publications such as Ploughshares, the Kenyon Review, and the Sun, and she has received support from the Bread Loaf-Rona Jaffe Foundation, the Abraham Lincoln Polonsky Endowment, and the Bergman Estate. She lives in Los Angeles and teaches at the University of California, Riverside.
