Emily Doyle's debut collection PLEASE DON'T TOUCH THE BODY and debut novel ENCOUNTER are forthcoming from Bloomsbury. Her work has appeared in Ploughshares, The Kenyon Review, The Sun, and elsewhere, and she has received numerous awards and fellowships, including the Bread Loaf-Rona Jaffe Scholarship, the Abraham Lincoln Polonsky Endowed Award, and the H. W. Hill Scholarship. She lives in Los Angeles and teaches at UC Riverside.
